Emma teaches dance to all ages, from 2 years to adults, passing on her skills to over 300 children every week! She teaches within a variety of schools, both to those looking to dance for fun, fitness and enjoyment, and to those looking to continue into the performing arts, with many former pupils successfully gaining places to continue training at top colleges. She has written/directed/choreographed and costumed(!!) fully produced, hour long dance displays for several schools, and choreographed even more shorter performances, taking many students to top West End theatres to give them the opportunity to shine on a fantastic platform.
As a choreographer, Emma’s theatre credits include Essence of Ireland (UK Tour), Thank you for the Music (UK Tour), Mamma Mia – The Concert (UK Tour), Dick Whittington (pantomime – UK Productions), Aladdin (pantomime – UK Productions). In the world of pop, Emma has choreographed for the chart topping acts Take That, The Feeling, Armand van Helden (‘My my my’), Sonique and Axwell, while TV credits include The Mint, MTV House Music Awards and The Generation Game. Commercially, Emma has choreographed hair shows for Salon International (Wella Colour), and many trade shows, with clients including EuroDisney and Sony.
As a performer, Emma has experience in theatre, TV, film and pop, with credits including Brit Awards, Spirit of the Dance, Essence of Ireland, Carnival Cruises, Mamma Mia – The Concert, MTV, Miss Selfridge Fashion show, T&G Models trade show, and Cirque du Soleil premiere.
Zoë’s true passion lies in passing on her love of dance to others and developing the talents of those she teaches. She enjoys teaching students of all ages, from 2 years to adult, ensuring all increase their skills and fitness, whilst having fun! Past students have gone on to attend some of the best performing arts colleges in the UK.
Over the last five years Zoë has worked extensively as a choreographer/dance teacher working in both secondary and primary schools where her students achieved excellent results in both GCSE and BTEC examinations. She also takes great pleasure in choreographing and devising shows and productions for theatre schools and companies.
Zoë started dancing at the early age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since! After years of hard work she graduated from Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama 2004 with a Diploma in Musical Theatre/Professional Dance, attaining her associate free style with IDTA.
Since graduating Zoë has performed in various shows and worked with many companies including Cinderella (pantomime – Ria Kane Productions), Dick Whittington (Pantomime – Ria Kane Productions.), Pied Piper (Bangers and Mash Theatre Company), Sleeping Beauty (Blackfriars Arts Centre) Golden Goose (Solomon’s Productions) Roald Dahl's “The Witches” (Ambassadors Theatre Group) and most recently What if it rains(Quantum Theatre for Science) a national touring theatre company, Zoë particularly enjoyed this recent Theatre in Education tour as it combined her passion for performing with her love of working with children.
